We visited the shop owned by George Balart, the fellow who introduced Vespas to Spain in 1953. He's one of Europe's experts...was the first to drive a Vespa to Moscow and regularly travels around Europe...he's only 75 years old. |

Dave called some old friends, so we took a train to Sant Cugat del Valles to meet Teresa Espinal, Miguel Ponce and their daughters Meritxell and Marina.They prepared a gourmet meal for us (9-ll pm), then drove us home at 1 am which seems to be activity time in Barcelona... |
